The old house dates back to 1858 and though many of its fine features are retained, it has been tastefully converted to cater for elderly residents.  In recent years a purpose built extension has been added to the main house.</font><p align="left"> <font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and have en-suite facilities, television, telephone point and nurse call system. Residents are welcome to bring personal furniture and possessions to make their rooms more homely. Lounge areas are comfortably furnished and the sun room allows residents to enjoy peaceful views across the garden. The Home is suitable for wheelchair use, and there is an 8 person passenger lift and a stair lift to the first floor.</font><p align="left"><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">A summary of the Services and Amenities we offer can be seen below. Hairdresser, Optician, Dentist, Chiropodist, Physiotherapy and Library services are all available on request.</font></p> <p align="left"><font face="Trebuchet MS" size="2">The large airy dining room features a beautiful fireplace and overlooks the garden.  We offer a wide menu featuring traditional home cooking and all dietary requirements are catered for. The menu is imaginative and varied and the food is of the highest quality. Residents have the choice of eating either in the dining room or in the privacy of their own room.<br> <br> A high standard of nursing care is provided by our fully qualified and trained caring staff. Personal and individual care is given according to the specific needs of each resident.
